Union Minister and senior BJP leader Jagat Prakash Nadda has demanded the resignation of Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh should resign immediately after CBI registered FIR against him in connection with the disproportionate assets case.
Mr Nadda said, it is evident that Mr Singh misused his position as Union Steel Minister during UPA’s rule and indulged in corruption.
The BJP leader from Himachal Pradesh said, that Mr Singh has lost moral right to continue in office.
On allegations of political vendetta by Congress, Mr Nadda said, the preliminary enquiry in the DA case started during the UPA rule.
