Jammu and Kashmir Governor Satya Pal Malik reviewed the security situation at a key Security Review meeting in Srinagar yesterday. Northern Army Commander Lt Gen Ranbir Singh attended the meeting chaired by the Governor.
The meeting was attended by the senior officials from the Army, Police, CRPF, BSF and other security agencies. They discussed the winter strategy, status of counter-terrorist operations and the other important issues.
The Governor appreciated the synergy being maintained through the joint efforts of all the agencies.
