In Jharkhand, five Maoists were today killed in an encounter with security forces at Serendaag jungle of Latehar district. Superintendent of Police Prasant Anand said the encounter between the Maoists and a joint team of district police and Central Reserve Police Force is still on. The SP said bodies of five have been recovered, so far, along with three AK-47 rifles.
