jaitelySenior BJP leader and Finance Minister Arun Jaitley today accused Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav of betraying the legacy of socialist icon Ram Manohar Lohia. Speaking at a function in New Delhi, Mr Jaitley said, those who do politics in the name of Lohia, are now regular visitor to the office of All India Congress Committee. He said, the leaders who emerged from the leadership of Lohia and Jai Prakash Narayan are disgracing the legacy of Lohia.

Mr Jaitley claimed that the electorates of Bihar will vote for development which would be provided by the Bharatiya Janata Party at the Centre and the state. He said, Bihar polls will be a repeat of what happened during the Lok Sabha elections.

On Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s challenge to debate on development, Mr Jaitley, citing a latest World Bank report said Gujarat is number 1 whereas Bihar stands at 21. He said, if this the situation then what is there to debate.
