External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar on Sunday had a conversation with Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Qatar Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani. The Ministers exchanged views on developments relating to Afghanistan. They also discussed on the bilateral, economic and energy cooperation. Dr Jaishankar in a tweet said, he is looking forward to the India-Qatar Joint Commission meeting.
The External Affairs Minister also spoke to the Foreign Minister of Kuwait Ahmed Nasser Mohammed Al Sabah. They reviewed the progress in the bilateral relationship. Both sides also agreed on an early meeting of the India-Kuwait Joint Commission. They also talked about regional situations ranging from West Asia and the Gulf to Afghanistan and the Indo-Pacific.
