India has said it is upto Pakistan to investigate and bring out the truth of 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks. Responding to a media query on revelations made by David Headley, External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Vikas Swarup said Headley’s testimony has confirmed the involvement of Pakistan in Mumbai terror attacks.
When asked whether Headley’s statement should be relied upon as he is a double agent, Mr Swarup said, it is a sworn testimony which is admissible under law and India will go by that. On Pakistan High Commissioner Abdul Basit’s remarks about demilitarizing the Siachen in the wake of recent casualties of Indian Army personnel, the spokesperson said, it is part of comprehensive dialogue and both countries will discuss the issue.
