The Islamic State group has claimed responsibility for Thursday’s terror attack in southern French city of Nice killing 84 people during the country’s national day celebrations.
In a statement via its Amaq news service, the IS terror group said, one of its militants carried out the attack on Thursday night.
Tunisian Mohamed Lahouaiej-Bouhlel smashed a truck into crowd of people in the Riviera city who were celebrating Bastille Day.
Meanwhile, French authorities have arrested four people believed to be linked to the man who carried out the attack in Nice.
While one of the men was arrested on Friday, the three others were held on Saturday.
