Indian Navy chief Admiral R K Dhowan today said INS Rajaji has been activated in Tamil Nadu and all relief material as well as civil flights are operating from Navy’s corner. Briefing reporters in New Delhi, he said INS Airavat, with diving teams and boats, has reached Chennai from Vizag. He said Naval ships, aircraft and personnel have been deployed in Chennai for nearly a week. He said Navy is carrying out survey of the areas using UAVs to assist Tamil Nadu administration.
