Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley today said that India was on a high growth trajectory since last few years and the country aspires to fasten the pace of development.
Unveiling the logo of the 3rd annual meeting of Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank here today, Mr Jaitley said, development of Infrastructure is at the centre stage and one of the highest priorities of the government, especially development of rural infrastructure.
He said the government is working effectively on Highways, Airports, ports, power productivity and Railways Infrastructure. Finance Minister said, rural housing, sanitation and electrification is also on priorities.
Mr Jaitley said it will improve the lives of people at large. He said AIIB will play an important role in the development of Infrastructure in the country.
