At least seven people were killed, two others got injured, and several are expected to be missing after flash floods and landslides struck Indonesia’s North Maluku today. Heavy rainfall, which began yesterday, triggered the disasters in Ternate City. The rescue and search operations by soldiers, police, local search and rescue personnel, disaster management staff, and volunteers are currently underway.
