India has slammed Palestine after its ambassador to Pakistan shared stage with Mumbai terror attacks mastermind Hafiz Saeed in Rawalpindi, Pakistan.
External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Raveesh Kumar said in New Delhi yesterday that India will strongly take up matter strongly with the Palestinian ambassador in New Delhi and with the Palestinian authorities. He was reacting to a query on reports and photographs of the Palestinian ambassador participating in the rally.
According to reports, the Palestinian ambassador in Islamabad Walid Abu Ali attended a large rally organised by the Difa-e-Pakistan Council in Rawalpindi yesterday. This council is an alliance of Islamist groups, including Saeed’s outfit in Pakistan.
