India and Pakistan today exchanged the list of Nuclear Installations and facilities covered under the Agreement on the Prohibition of Attack against Nuclear Installations and Facilities between both countries. The list was exchanged through diplomatic channels simultaneously at New Delhi and Islamabad.
In a statement the Ministry of External Affairs said that, as per the agreement, both the countries inform each other of the nuclear installations and facilities on 1st of January every year. The Agreement was signed on 31st December 1988 and entered into force on 27 January 1991. This is the 35th consecutive exchange of such lists between the two countries.
