INS Godavari is escorting an Egyptian vessel released by Somali pirates. An official release said that the Naval Adviser of the Pakistan High Commission here was summoned on Friday to the Ministry of Defence and India’s serious concern on this incident was conveyed.
New Delhi said that it was also against the relevant regulations on navigational safety. The statement also said that the acts of Pakistan naval vessel were in violation of bilateral agreement signed in 1991.
India has also refuted allegations that its war ship obstructed the Pakistan naval ship.
