Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said, India is moving fast on the path of development.
Addressing Indian diaspora at the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization, UNESCO building in Paris, the Prime Minister said, people gave a resounding mandate to his government for building ‘New India’.
Mr. Modi said, in ‘New India’, the noose is tightening on corruption, nepotism, loot of public money and terrorism.
He said, his government did away with the practice of triple talaq and injustice cannot be done to Muslim women in New India. Mr. Modi said, India will achieve most of the climate change goals set for 2030, in the next year and a half.
In an apparent reference to the revocation of special status to Jammu and Kashmir, he said, there is no scope for temporary in India and that a country of 1.25 billion people took 70 years to remove what was temporary.
