President Ram Nath Kovind today said India though was committed to peace but was also fully prepared to protect its unity, integrity and sovereignty with full valour and strength in the wake of any external aggression.
The President was addressing a gathering after awarding President’s standards to 223 Squadron and Colours to 117 Helicopter unit for history of excellence at Adampur Air Force station.
He said every citizen has a sound sleep back at their homes because they were aware that valiant soldiers were safeguarding the borders of the country.
