India beat West Indies by six wickets to complete 3-0 clean sweep in T20 series. In a thrilling match in Chennai last night, Shikhar Dhawan’s 92 runs and Rishabh Pant’s 58 guided India to victory on the last ball of the match.
Dhawan hit 10 fours and two sixes in his 62-ball innings and forged a scintillating 130-run partnership with Rishab Pant who made 58 for the third wicket.
The hosts made 182 runs with the loss of 4 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs. Earlier, electing to bat first, West Indies scored 181 for 3 in 20 overs.
Unbeaten N Pooran top scored for the West Indies with 53 while DM Bravo with 43 also remained unbeaten. For India, Yuzvendra Chahal claimed two wickets and Washington Sunder one.
The Windies have already lost the Test series in the current tour 0-2 and the ODI series 1-3.
