India and China today held discussions on Nuclear Suppliers Group, NSG issue in Beijing. Sources said, Joint Secretary, Disarmament and International Security Affairs in Ministry of External Affairs met DG of Department of Arms Control in Chinese Foreign Ministry, Wang Qun.
The first such meeting was held in New Delhi on the 13th of last month. Sources added that talks were substantive and constructive. The two countries will continue engagement to discuss India’s membership in the elite group.
