India beat Australia by six wickets in the third and final Twenty20 International at Sydney on Sunday and levelled the series 1-1.
In reply to Australia’s 164 for 6 in the stipulated 20 overs, India finished with 168 for 4.
Skipper Virat Kohli top scored with 61 and remained unbeaten.
Earlier, Rohit Sharma contributed 23 and Shikhar Dhavan 41. India bounced back after the hosts got off to a strong start. Krunal Pandya took 4 wickets, while Kuldeep Yadav bagged one.
India now go into the four-Test series and three ODIs against the Kangaroos on a positive note.
