sushma in PakExpressing the resolve of India and Bangladesh to fight terrorism, extremism and radicalisation, External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj on Sunday said that both the countries were determined to protect their societies from the threat of ideologies of hate, violence and terror by adopting a zero tolerance policy and a comprehensive approach in fighting violent extremism and terrorism at all levels.

In a press statement during her visit to Bangladesh, the External affairs Minister also expressed her deep concern at the spate of violence in Rakhine State of Myanmar.

She said that the only long term solution to the situation in Rakhine State is rapid socio-economic and infrastructure development that would have a positive impact on all the communities living in the State.
