NEW DELHI: India on Friday asked Beijing to respect its sensitiveness on issues like Jammu and Kashmir and Arunachal Pradesh. The External Affairs Minister Mr.S M Krishna said that this is important to further the relationship between the two countries.  He made it clear that bilateral defence exchanges with China will remain suspended and urged Beijing to maintain neutrality on the affairs related to Jammu and Kashmir. He said the issue of Chines assertiveness in the region recently will figure in the discussion between the Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh and U S President Barak Obama in New Delhi early Next month. Mr. Krishna asserted that Jammu and Kashmir is an integral part of India and a number of elections have been held in the state in the last 60 years in a democratic and transparent manner. On the issue of China, issuing staple visas to the people of Jammu and Kashmir, he said New Delhi has made it clear to Beijing that it is not acceptable and there is a need to be sensitive to the each others concern to build relations. The External Affairs Minister said that India has good working relationship with China even though there are some outstanding issues like border issues. He said in this context 14th round of special representative talks on boundary issue will be held soon.  He also said that Arunachal is a part of Indian and there cannot be any two opinions about it.AIR
