India and Israel are planning to hold a series of events to celebrate 25 years of establishment of their diplomatic ties. New Delhi established full diplomatic relationship with Israel in 1992 though it had recognised the country in 1950.
The Ministry of External Affairs in a statement in New Delhi yesterday, said that both the governments are contemplating holding a series of events on a variety of subjects to celebrate the occasion in a befitting manner. The Ministry also said India and Israel have been cooperating with each other on many fronts including defence and agriculture.
