Prime MinMOdi at FBister Narendra Modi has said that India is a heaven for those who want to invest in the country.Interacting with people on Facebook on Sunday, Prime Minster stressed on 4 D and said that apart from demography, democracy and demand, government is working on deregulation.

Prime Minister Modi interacted with people taking their questions in a historic Townhall at the Facebook Headquarters. He was received by Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg and then took a tour of the facility.

At the Facebook townhall event, Prime Minister Modi added a fourth D to demogarphic dividend, democracy and demand which he’s often cited as the USPs of India to attract foreign direct investment.

He said his government is also working on deregulation to ensure that ease of doing business improves in the country.

The Prime Minister hailed social media as an important tool for providing real time information not only to improve governance but also help govts do course correction with people’s feedback on policies and programmes.

The Prime Minister also elaborated on his vision on how he intends to strengthen India’s digital infrastructure in response to a question at the facebook event.

He said that both the physical and digital infrastructures in the country need to be bolstered at the same time.

He said money is not a problem because India is best place to invest in the world for many countries which have surplus funds.

The Facebook townhall event also saw Prime Minister Modi turning emotional when Mark Zuckerberg asked him a question about his mother and role in his upbringing.

Prime Minister Modi also took a question on how his government is empowering women.

He clearly said that this is something that has been done consistently by India at all levels of governance where women have even been given reservation in local level bodies.

Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao campaign is also playing a big role in educating 50% of the country’s population which he said cannot remain imprisoned at home.

After the townhall, PM Modi wrote a message on the ‘real’ Facebook wall at Menlo Park headquarters.

He wrote a special message, in Gujarati. That read ‘Ahimsa parmo dharam or Ahimsa is the greatest Dharma and Satyameva Jayate’ Truth is always victorious.
