The India Meteorological Department, IMD has issued an orange alert and forecast heavy to very heavy rainfall in Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, West Madhya Pradesh, and Gujarat till tomorrow.
A senior scientist in the IMD, Dr R K Jenamani said that whole parts of Delhi and adjoining areas have received moderate rainfall which will reduce from tomorrow. Mr Jenamani attributed the rainfall to the interaction of western disturbance.
