Prime Minister Narendra Modi today said, Gujarat has embarked on a speedy path towards development under BJP’s rule. Addressing a public rally in Bharuch ahead of the first phase of assembly elections in the state, Mr Modi said, he has seen unprecedented support for BJP during his visits to Kutch, Saurashtra and South Gujarat.
He said, Bharuch and Kutch districts have significantly developed under the BJP government. The Prime Minister is scheduled to address rallies in Surendranagar and Rajkot later today.
Meanwhile, briefing media in Ahmedabad, state Congress President Bharatsinh Solanki said, Congress will announce its poll manifesto tomorrow. Referring to attack on the brother of a Congress candidate from Rajkot West seat, Mr Solanki alleged that BJP workers were behind the attack.
