Union Home minister Amit Shah has inaugurated the SP conference at Dergaon in Assam this evening.
Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, Union Home Secretary Ajay Bhalla along with SP’s from across the state ,other senior cops have attended the inaugural session of the two day conference.
Mr Shah also inaugurated the convention centre where the conference is being held.
The two-day conference is likely to hold discussion on present law and order situation of the state, people’s friendly measures among other issues.
