Union Home Minister Amit Shah has flagged off the third segment of the Gujarat Gaurav Yatra from Sant Savaiyanath temple in Ahmedabad. The Yatra will be concluded at Somnath in the Saurashtra region.
Addressing the people, Mr. Shah said the state is on the path of development and attracting huge investments under the BJP-led government.
Union Minister Mansukh Mandaaviya, Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, State BJP president C. R. Patil and other senior BJP leaders were present on the occasion.
Later in the day, Mr. Shah will also launch the other two segments of the Yatra from Unai Mata temple in Vansda taluk of Navsari district.
