A Hindu temple has been vandalised this morning in Panchgarh district, northwestern part of Bangladesh. It happened 3 days after unknown assailants slaughtered a head priest of a temple in the same district.

Miscreants damaged a dome of Sri Sri Hori temple at Molani village, and also damaged a part of the wall. Police said they are hunting for the criminals but local residents said the incident has sparked panic in the area.

Meanwhile, law enforcement agencies said police have made an important headway in investigating the Sunday killing of the Hindu temple priest, after 2 JMB and 1 Jamaat e-Islami Students’ Wing activists were arrested. Security has been provided around the temple premises.
