Haryana Police prepared to deal with next Jat agitation

Haryana Additional Director General Police, Law and Order, Mohd. Akil has said that the Police is fully prepared to deal with the agitation by the Jats, announced to commence from June 5.

Mr Akil, who was interacting with media persons at Chandigarh, was asked to comment on the threat given by a section of the Jats to restart the agitation.

He said that the Police would try to pacify the protesters and not to resort to violence, but if they do not understand, the Police may use force against such protesters, without any consideration of caste or community.
