Patidar Anamat Andolan Samiti (PAAS) convener Hardik Patel has been released on bail today from the Lajpor Jail in Surat. Hardik was arrested last year in connection with two sedition cases pertaining to Patidar quota stir and a case of violence at Visnagar law maker’s office.
Last Friday, Gujarat High Court granted a bail to Patel on the condition of staying out of state for six months.
After releasing from the court today morning PAAS leader Hardik Patel thanked judiciary for the support. Patel told media that his agitation will continue.
However, Patel said there will be a change in the method of agitation. Following the permission granted by Surat Police, a massive road show is being organised by PASS in support of the quota leader in major Patidar dominant areas of the city.
Patidar community people from different parts of the state have come to Surat to felicitate PASS leader. Hardik Patel will leave for Rajsthan in the evening.
