Remedy could be found through dialogue

Jammu and Kashmir, Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti hoisted the tri-colour at Bakshi Stadium in Srinagar and took salute of the march past. Addressing the function, Ms Mufti asserted that gun will not solve any problem.
She maintained that violence has only brought miseries to Kashmir and is not a means to seek resolution of problems. Speaking against the backdrop of over month-long unrest in the Valley, she questioned people who have been indulging in violence.
The Chief Minister underlined that any remedy could be found through dialogue in a great democracy like India. She hoped Prime Minister Narendra Modi will complete the process started by from Atal Behari Vajpayee to address the state’s problems.
In Jammu, the main function was held at the Parade Ground where Deputy Chief Minister Nirmal Singh hoisted the tri-colour.
