Gujarat High Court has adjourned further hearing on the habeas corpus petition of Hardik Patel till 8th October. High Court directed both the parties- Patidar leader and the state Government to avoid confrontation and resolve the issue amicably and peacefully. The court also directed Hardik Patel to file a fresh affidavit clearly mentioning what he wants to say to the court. Advocate General of state Government told the high court that an allegation of abduction is demoralizing the state police.
The convener of Patidar Anamat Andolan Samiti Hardik Patel appeared in the Court this morning. Earlier, the advocate of Hardik Patel had filed a habeas corpus petition on 22nd of this month alleging that Hardik was kidnapped by police and his life was under threat. However, Hardik Patel surfaced next morning in Surendranagar district and alleged that he was abducted in a car and threatened by the some unidentified people. State Government had denied the allegations of Patel leader.
