The death toll due to Covid-19 has crossed 1,000 mark in Gujarat with 27 new deaths reported during last 24 hours . According to state health department, 24 people died in Ahmedabad while one death each was reported from Gandhinagar, Banaskantha and Mehsana. Total number of affected people with Covid19 in the state has gone up to 16356 with 412 new cases reported.
Out of 6119 active cases, the conditions of 6057 people are stable while 62 are on ventilator support. Recovery rate of Covid19 patients in Gujarat is constantly increasing. Against the national average of 47.40, the recovery rate of Gujarat has reached up to 56.43 percent. With 621 patients discharge from the hospitals yesterday, the total number of patients discharged after recovery has reached up to 9230.
