India witnessed a substantial increase in its Goods and Services Tax (GST) revenue in the last month reaching a total of One lakh 57 thousand 90 crore rupees. It comprises 28 thousand 411 crore rupees of CGST, 35 thousand 828 crore rupees of SGST, 81 thousand 363 crore rupees of IGST and 11 thousand 489 crore rupees of cess. The figure noted a 12 percent surge compared to the same month in the last year. The Government has settled 35 thousand 369 crore rupees to CGST and 29 thousand 769 crore rupees to SGST from IGST. The total revenue of the Centre and the States in the last month after the regular settlement is 63 thousand 780 crore rupees for CGST and 65 thousand 597 crore rupees for the SGST.
