The necessary security measures have been in place to control the unwanted situation and normalcy has been restoring slowly in Manipur. The combined security forces have been conducting combing operations in different outskirts and sensitive areas and no unwanted report of violence have been reported today.
Meanwhile, the State Home Department extended the suspension of mobile data services, internet/data services including broadband services in the State except those who have been exempted by the government. On the other hand, the Education Department has deferred the commencement of classes till first of the next month. Earlier, the department announced that the classes of the schools under the department will commence from tomorrow.
The delegation of ministers, MLAs of BJP and its coalition parties of Manipur presently staying at Delhi met the General Secretary (Organisation) of BJP today in New Delhi.
