Home Minister Rajnath Singh has said, the Centre is taking all steps needed to protect the country. Talking to reporters on the sidelines of International Buddha Poornima Diwas celebration here today, Mr. Singh asserted that the people of all religions and castes will fight the terror forces with all their might.

He was replying to a media query about terror group Islamic State (IS) reportedly threatening in a video to take revenge over Kashmir and demolition of Babri mosque.

Earlier, during his speech at the event, Mr Singh said conflicts among persons, within societies and religions are on the rise these days and the solution of these problems can be found in Buddha’s message. He said, no religion contradicts another, but they complement each other.

Minister of State for Home Kiren Rijiju, who also attended the function, asserted that such type of propaganda videos by terror outfits will not be able to influence the people of the country. He said, the people have decided that they will not allow these kinds of activities to take root in India.
