He said, the government will wait and abide by the Delhi High court’s order in the Contempt of Court proceeding initiated on the plea of the Air India management. Delhi High Court has directed the pilots to end their strike immediately. The strike entered the sixth day today.

The Court also asked the management to consider the demands of the striking pilots. The Court heard both the pilots and the management and adjourned the matter till tomorrow. The domestic operations of Air India have been severely hit due to the strike leading to cancellation of over 90 percent flights. The Directorate General of Civil Aviation has asked private airlines to come up with the routes they want to operate where Air India has cancelled its flights.
