Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said his government initiated a number of connectivity projects in Southern part of the country in the last four and half years with the objective to ensure development in this part of the country.

Interacting with BJP Karyakartas from Kerala through video conferencing today, Mr Modi informed that 19 National Highway projects costing 3500 crore rupees were sanctioned in Kerala alone in 2018-19.

The Prime Minister said, the BJP model of governance is fast-paced, inclusive and all round development.

Mr Modi said, BJP workers in Kerala are effectively becoming the voice of the people. He said, the workers stand strongly with the people, even if it means withstanding the brutality of political violence.

He reiterated his solidarity with all those affected by the floods in the states a few months ago.

The Prime Minister said, within four years, the Indian economy is among the fastest growing economies from being the Fragile Five when he assumed office in 2014.
