Union Government on Friday said that it has cancelled self-styled Godman Nithyananda’s passport and rejected his application for a new one.

Briefing media in New Delhi today, External Affairs Ministry Spokesman Raveesh Kumar said, all Indian missions and posts have been sensitized that Nithyananda is wanted in several cases of crime. He said, External Affairs Ministry has asked its missions to sensitize the local government.

The Spokesman also said that Ministry is in touch with the families of six Indians who have lost their lives in an LPG tanker blast at a factory in Sudan. He said, eight Indians are in hospital and 11 people are unidentified or missing.
