NEW DELHI: BJP national president, Nitin Gadkari is not only confident of winning forthcoming election s in Bihar but also hopeful of forming an NDA government at centre after 2014 general election. Gadkari said that he was 100 percent sure that his combine would retain power in Bihar. “We will (JDU-BJP) will again form government in Bihar”, he said adding that his party is also doing ground work to dethrone UPA government after next Lok Sabha elections.
Gadkakari however is pained over the working culture in Delhi. “Here every body comes with a bio data. I do not believe in bio data but work” he commented adding he wanted to see ground work. Much to the dismay of BJP leaders he said that party ticket would be distributed on the basis of performance and ground work. He said that he had gathered several report before giving ticket to the candidates in Bihar.
Interacting with a group of newsmen from the North-east, Gadkari, who is leaving for Assam on Wednesday, to take part in a rally at Nagaon struck a cautious note regarding its blow hot, blow cold relation with Asom Gana Parishad (AGP), even as he heaped scorn on the rival Congress Party.
He said that poverty, lack of development, adequate communication facilities, floods and illegal migration from Bangladesh were bane of the North-east, BJP president said that the Party is brining out its own Vision Document North-east 2025 .
A five-member team has been tasked to draft the report, he said, adding that experts and bureaucrats would be consulted, while preparing the Vision 2025.
When asked about solution of the problem, he stressed that any solution has to be within the Constitution of India. Guns cannot solve any problem, he added.
Steadfast in his attack on the Congress Party, he accused the ruling Party of Accusing the Congress of playing vote bank politics.
“There is an overwhelming mood prevailing in Assam against the ruling Congress Party, he said, citing initial survey reports from the State.
