In French Open men’s singles, Dominic Thiem of Austria has entered the final. In Paris today, he defeated Marco Cecchinato of Italy 7-5, 7-6, 6-1.

The other semifinal match in men’s singles between top seed Rafael Nadal of Spain and Juan Martin Del Potro of Argentina for a place in the final is delayed. Defending champion, Nadal will be seeking his 11th title at Roland Garros.

Austrian-Croatian pair of Mate Pavić and Oliver Marach have also entered the final of the Men’s Doubles. They defeated 12th seed Spanish team of Feliciano and Marc López in the semifinal 6-4, 7-5.

Tomorrow World number One Simona Halep of Romania will face US Open winner Sloane Stephens for the French Open Women’s singles title.

Top seed Halep has so far played three Grand Slam Finals including two at Roland Garros but lost all of them.
