NEW DELHI: Senior congress leader and former chief minister of Orissa Hemanand Biswal, 
72 on Thursday escape unhurt when his former private secretary Prabhat Kumar Sharma, 45 alias Swamy allegedly shot at him and sped away from the incident.
The incident took place at his official residence, 7, Kamraj Marg in the early morning, at 4 a.m, a FIR has been registered.
Giving details veteran congress leader said, at the time of the incident two other close associates were present at his home.
The incident has raised an alarm over the security of the Member of Parliament’s in the capital.
During the incident two private security guards were also present at his home . According to former chief minister account, Mr Sharma was voulantrily working at his place from 2009 but without any formal appointment, and also added that when he came to know about his dubious past two month back, a FIR was registered with police.
Prabhat Kumar alias Swamy came to his acquiantance last year in the Orissa Bhawan and offered himself to work at his place, said a close confidant.
According to a Delhi police official, MPs belonging to the Orissa state has a very simple backgound and they fall prey to this uncanny character. Senior congress leader Jayadev Jena and Sameer Rout called at his place after the incident.
