Air Chief Marshal Arup Raha has said the recent terror attacks on Army and Air Base are stark reminders of the troubled times the country live in.
Addressing the function to celebrates the Indian Air Force 84th anniversary at the Hindon air base near Delhi today, he said new security measures have been installed to counter any kind of such threat.
He said the induction of Air to Air Astra missile, AD radars and BrahMos are some success stories of country’s indigenisation effort.
Air Chief Marshal added this year is historic as for the first time three women officers have been inducted as fighter pilots in the IAF.
