The Special CBI Court on Thursday once again deferred the sentencing of former Bihar Chief Minister and RJD supremo Lalu Prasad in a case of the fodder scam.
Special CBI Judge Shivpal Singh deferred the sentencing as it was decided that convicts whose name are in the alphabetical order from A-K would be taken up today for announcing the quantum of punishment in the case number RC64A/96 related to fraudulent withdrawal of Rs 89.4 lakh from Deoghar treasury.
The court had on December 23 convicted Prasad and 15 others in the case.
