Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has refuted the allegation made by West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee that her mike was switched off during the Niti Ayog meeting recently. The Finance Minister informed in Bengaluru on Sunday that Mamata Banerjee had said during the meeting that she represented the entire opposition and that she conveyed their view points. The minister said that Mamatha Banerjee voiced her views during the meeting and it was heard by everyone. After coming out of the meeting her statement was different. Sitharaman further added that it is a forum where the Opposition party Chief Ministers can express their views and boycotting it is not a good trend.
