In Kashmir Valley, Police have filed an FIR against the banned separatist organisation, Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF), for asking people to observe strike today and on February 11.
A police spokesman said that the statement issued by the affiliates of the banned organisation was an attempt to incite violence and disturb the law and order situation in the Valley. He said a case in this regard has been filed at a local police station.
