Jaipur: An ex-serviceman, who was standing in a queue to withdraw cash from a bank at Ladnu town in Nagaur district of Rajasthan, fainted and later died today.

According to Tribune news Prahlad Singh, 70, who was standing in the queue at the local branch of SBBJ since 9 am, fainted and died on the spot, SHO NM Kumawat said.

The deceased’s family was called from Dujarka village and handed over the body.

On November 19, Ratna Ram, 75, also an ex-serviceman, had died while he was standing in a queue at SBBJ in Pilani.

In Parliament Opposition parties have claimed that more than 75 people have died so far due to cash crunch in the country.
