Home Minister Amit Shah today asserted that elections will be held in Jammu and Kashmir with full transparency. Addressing a public rally in Baramulla, Jammu & Kashmir, Mr Shah said, as soon as the work of compiling the voters’ list is completed it will be held.
He said, Prime Minister Modi Ji’s model of governance brings development and employment. Mr Shah said, for the last 70 yrs, Mufti and company, Abdullah and sons were in power in the state but didn’t provide housing for the one lakh homeless people. He said, Modi ji gave homes to these one lakh people between 2014-2022.
Mr Shah said, earlier, this was a terrorist hotspot, now it’s a tourism hotspot. He highlighted increasing tourism in J&K has given employment to a number of youths.
Amid high-security arrangements, thousands of people from Kupwara, Bandipora and other parts of the Kashmir Valley thronged the rally at Showkat Ali stadium.
