Hectic Campaigning is on for the third phase elections in Uttar Pradesh. Today is the last day for campaigning in 12 districts in the third phase.Several senior political leaders including Prime Minister addressed public rallies in different assembly areas for the third phase elections.
BJP’s star campaign Prime Minister Narenda Modi addressed public meetings at Barabanki and Hardoi and directly targeted Samajwadi Government for deteoreating law and order situation of the state.
While in Sitapur congress vice president Rahul Gandhi continued to criticize demonetization and appealed people to vote for a government to work for common man. Samajwadi Party leader and Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav addressed several meetings today.
While addressing a rally in Mainpuri Mr Yadav asked the Prime Minister about the black money collected after demonitisation. BSP general secretary Satish Chandra Mishra opined that corruption is high during Samajwadi party rule.The third phase campaigning going to be end tomorrow and voting will take place on 19 th February.Meanwhile filing of nominations for seventh and last also concluded today.
