Egypt has issued a stern warning to Israel, threatening to nullify the historic Camp David Accords if Israel proceeds with its invasion of Rafah, as reported by Israeli media. This threat comes amidst escalating tensions over Israel’s ongoing military operation in Rafah, with the United States reportedly escalating its warnings to Israel regarding its actions in the region.

Just days ago, Egypt expressed grave concerns about the potential dangers posed by a potential Israeli military operation in Rafah, located in the southern Gaza Strip. The city has been subject to Zionist aggression for approximately seven months.
International condemnation of Israel’s actions in Rafah continues to mount, with many expressing fears about the safety of over a million Palestinians who have been displaced to the southern area of the Gaza Strip due to the conflict.

The Camp David Accords, signed on September 17, 1978, marked a significant milestone in the relations between Israel and Egypt, culminating in the first-ever peace treaty between Israel and an Arab neighbor. The accords, brokered by the United States, have long been considered a cornerstone of stability in the region.
