Congress-JD(S) meeting held in Karnataka

Senior leaders of coalition partners in the Government, Congress and JD(S) held meeting here today prior to the Congress legislative party meeting.
The state in-charge from Congress K C Venugopal, Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy, Deputy Chief Minister Dr.G Parameshwar, coordination committee Chairman Siddaramaiah, KPCC President Dinesh Gundurao among others held a series of meetings on the future of the coalition government.
Speaking to media persons later, Siddaramaiah said that efforts to topple the coalition government will not materialise.
Our Correspondent adds that discussions were also held to accommodate disgruntled legislators in the cabinet to quell dissidence activities.
